Volumetric Concrete Mixed To Your Specifications

Volumetric Concrete Supplies for Industrial Applications

When it comes to the robust demands of industrial applications, precision and reliability are paramount. At CCS Concrete, we specialise in delivering top-tier volumetric concrete solutions tailored specifically for these industrial needs, ensuring that every project goal is met with the highest standards of performance and durability.

Quality is non-negotiable, which is why our concrete mixes are meticulously designed using the most high-quality ingredients and aggregates to achieve the superior strength and durability you require. Our volumetric concrete delivery services play an important role in keeping costs down, so that your projects never exceed budgets or timeframes.

CONCRETE FLOORING

Industrial settings like warehouses and distribution centres demand flooring solutions that can withstand constant wear, heavy machinery and even exposure to chemicals. Our industrial ground floor solutions guarantee maximum durability under challenging conditions. From initial placement to the final finish, our skilled team ensures that every square meter of concrete flooring meets your specified requirements for strength, flatness and surface hardness.

CONCRETE WALLS

Industrial concrete walls serve as the backbone of structural integrity and safety within facilities. Our concrete is mixed to ensure uncompromising resistance to environmental stresses and superior load-bearing capacity, facilitating renovations, expansion and construction of entirely new structures.

CONCRETE REPAIRS & RESURFACING

Over time, it’s practically inevitable that industrial concrete surfaces will require maintenance due to excessive wear, impact or deterioration. Here at CCS Concrete, we address these issues the right way to ensure lasting results with our industrial concrete repair services, promptly and effectively restoring structural integrity of walls, flooring and other concrete structures while minimising downtime.

Industrial concrete is a high-strength, durable material specifically designed for heavy loads and harsh industrial environments. It resists wear, impact, chemicals and extreme temperatures, ensuring maximum longevity and reliability. This makes it ideal for applications such as factory floors, warehouses and other infrastructure which is required to support heavy machinery and equipment.

For industrial buildings like warehouses and storage facilities, concrete slabs usually range from 6 to 8 inches in thickness. However, depending on factors such as load requirements, soil conditions and existing reinforcement structures, you may require a thicker slab base. Specific building codes and design specifications also influence the thickness. Consulting a structural engineer ensures the appropriate thickness for your needs.

While we do not offer pumping services, we do possess a manoeuvrable mixing arm and chutes which are able to extend to up to 4.8m.

For smaller industrial sites we do offer barrowing services for an additional charge, so long as there is suitable access.

To ensure your concrete is mixed to your exact specifications we offer several optional additives to enhance certain properties including:

Plasticiser: Also known as a water-reducing agent, a plasticiser increases the workability of concrete without the need for additional water. This results in a mixture that is easier to pour and shape while maintaining its strength and durability.

Air Entrainer (AEA): This additive introduces and stabilises tiny air bubbles within the concrete mixture. The air bubbles improve the concrete’s resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and reduces the risk of cracking and scaling, especially in environments subject to frequent temperature changes.

Foaming Agent: Similar to air entrainers, foaming agents create a network of air voids within the concrete, but these voids are usually larger and more uniform. This results in a lightweight concrete mixture with improved insulation properties and reduced density, making it ideal for specific applications like soundproofing or thermal insulation.

Fibres: Fibres are added to concrete to improve its tensile strength and reduce cracking. These fibres can be made from various materials, including steel, glass, synthetic materials, or natural products. They help to distribute loads more evenly across the concrete, enhance its durability, and reduce shrinkage cracks during the curing process.

Minimum concrete delivery volume: 0.25m³

Maximum concrete delivery volume: 7m³

We do offer multiple deliveries to the same site, so if your needs exceed our maximum delivery volume then that’s no problem.
